After the visit to the sanctuaries to admire the Fireflies was suspended in 2020, due to the pandemic, this year thanks to the green traffic light in the state, this tourist attraction will be reactivated.

The 2021 firefly season in Tlaxcala begins this June 18 and runs until August 8.

The 2021 firefly season was already announced by the authorities of the state of Tlaxcala, after last year, the sanitary measures applied by the COVID-19 pandemic prevented the sighting of the peculiar insects from being carried out in the different sanctuaries in the entity.

In the same way and as part of the gradual return to the new normal during the coronavirus pandemic, it issued a series of recommendations to apply sanitary measures during the visit in the 2021 firefly season in the state.
